I majored in Math and Economics at Cornell University, and Finance and Statistics at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, from which I received my degrees in 1980 and 1982, respectively.
I spent my entire business life with one Wall Street firm, Morgan Stanley, completing my career as President of Morgan Stanley Commodities Management, Inc. in 2003. As a commodities trader, I learned the importance of gathering as much information as was available and then making the best decisions, even with often less than perfect information.
As a resident of Leeds, I served on Town Council in 2013 and then had the privilege to serve as Mayor from 2014 through 2021. During those nine years I believe I demonstrated the willingness to not only attend all meetings, but to work tirelessly to gather the appropriate information, listening to residents, professionals in appropriate fields, and my fellow Town Council members before casting my vote for what I believed to be best for our entire community.
As a retiree, I am able to, and will dedicate the necessary hours required to serve as Mayor of the Town of Leeds for the next four years.
